Barriers and facilitators to group interventions for people living with long-term conditions in South Asia

Speakers: Emma Victoria Shiel, Rory Myles and Elizabeth Broom
The seminar presented preliminary findings from a meta-synthesis examining access to and engagement with group interventions for people living with long-term conditions. It also introduced the meta-ethnography method and considered implications for future intervention development.

Healthcare professionals from different backgrounds joined patients and caregivers to help shape the ACROSS Theory of Change. The hybrid workshop supported discussion about programme priorities, delivery and meaningful stakeholder involvement.

Mental Health Policy Roundtable with the Director General Health Sindh

The Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning convened a policy roundtable with the Director General Health Sindh and more than 30 specialists and stakeholders. Professor Imran Chaudhry presented ACROSS, while Professor Nusrat Husain hosted the discussion on clinical evaluation, implementation and health-system support.
