Professor Dr. Chaudhury Meshkat Ahmed is a professor of cardiology and Head, Division of Heart Failure, Preventive Cardiology & Rehabilitation of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He has been Received “100 Most Dedicated Professor” global award-awarded by World Education Congress, July 2019. He also received the BSE award for outstanding contribution in Echocardiography in 2017 and the Best Scientific Paper Award on the Research Day 2022 by BSMMU. He had experienced as Principal investigator/ co-investigator of 10 research projects, granted by University Grant Commission (UGC), Ministry of Science and technology, BSMMU and USAID. He has been supervised about more than 58 postgraduate research students for completion of PhD, MD, MS, MPhil thesis work and Dissertation for FCPS from various discipline of different faculties of BSMMU, Dhaka University, Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS). He was invited as an examiner in PhD thesis examination in Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2010 and regularly in MD thesis and clinical examination of various disciplines of BSMMU. Professor Chaudhury Meshkat is a member of the OBE template revision committee and the committee for blended learning of UGC. Facilitator for the workshops on Outcome Based Curriculum (OBE) of the different faculties of BSMMU. Member of curriculum review committee BSMMU.
