Professor Tahir Saghir has earned Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Cardiology and Fellowship of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). He commenced his journey with NICVD in 2003 with the focus of his interest in Clinical and Interventional Cardiology. He is one of the two Certified Interventional Cardiologists for Aortic Valve Implant (TAVI). He is currently acting as Director of Clinical Research Department and Associate Director of Cardiac Cath and Intervention Department. The Clinical Research Department continues to conduct high quality research projects under his leadership.
